The site has been developed following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at level AA, although it has not undergone an external accessibility audit, so we cannot declare verified full conformance.
Measures taken
- Hierarchical heading structure and use of semantic elements.
- A skip link at the start to jump straight to the content.
- Alternative text on images.
- Full keyboard navigation, including the photo viewer, which closes with the Escape key and is browsed with the arrow keys.
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background.
- The system preference for reduced motion is respected.
- The status of calendar dates is not conveyed by colour alone: it is accompanied by text for screen readers.
- A responsive design that adapts to any screen size, with no horizontal scrolling.
